    Nowadays ICT is used highly in educational purposes. There are lot of options, students can use in their educational works. Internet, E books, E journals, social media, you tube channels, computer assisted learning, dashboards, online courses, online schooling etc. Students normally search, learn things and gather information through internet.  They follow online courses and engage in online lectures especially in this pandemic situation.  So, ICT makes them easier to continue their education during this COVID-19 situation.

Computer assisted learning (CAL) or simply online teaching has completely modernized the way that students’ learning patterns and teacher’s teaching patterns. It is quite different from traditional class rooms but it’s quite easy. CAL includes online courses and supplementary course materials used in colleges and universities. Students don’t want to go outside and waste their valuable time or don't want to go out in a risky situation like COVID-19 pandemic. They can learn at home using online teaching. In a pandemic situation like COVID-19, CAL is really useful.

There are 100% online courses in internet to follow. In most of the European countries, there are full time online schools and full time online courses. Ex: the Florida virtual school, North Carolina virtual public school are some full time online schools offering many different type of online courses. So, in a pandemic situation, we must use this type of technology to continue school or university education.

The most recent and new concept of online education is using cloud computing. This is very similar to CAL but the difference is, solving the problem of storing data. Students can easily discuss about home work and can access from any device and any where because of cloud computing concept. This method is really helpful when it comes to distance learning in unexpected pandemic situations. So, this is how we can successfully use technology to overcome issues like COVID-19.
