Nowadays technology is using widely for communication purposes. People communicate with each other through communicating devices like phone, television, computers, and laptops. People connect trough calls, text messages, emails, and social media.

In the earlier days, letters used to be written posted and took several weeks or months before reaching the recipient. These days, texts enable you to send messages by the touch of a button at any corner of the world and we can get calls for any one quickly and easily. Not only you can call someone on the phone for a regular voice chat, but also you can video chat by apps and conferencing software that can handle meetings with your class mates or with the company staff. There many apps like zoom, MS teams to get large number of video conferencing calls. The advantage is that you can communicate with wide audience without traveling to meet them physically. This saves time and money. Translating the languages in to many languages is another area where technology and communication have led to improvement to reduce language barriers. The popular communication app Skype can now translate text and voice conversations in real-time in many languages. This provides the opportunity to interact with friends, family and business contacts even if you don't both speak English and opens up the potential for language learning. Technology has led to gadgets like ili that let you almost instantly translate sentences offline when you have face-to-face communication anywhere you go.

Social media is one of the fastest and most popular communicating network platforms which gather the every corner of the world. Through platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter among others users can communicate through comments, likes or even their profiles and can share -photos, videos and ideas. These platforms break the barrier of religion, distance or race and allow global communication. We can chat and make friends in any country in any religion, this make the whole world so close.

So for a situation like Covid-19 pandemic, people are staying at home and can’t meet each other. People have no way to communicate with each other, if there is no technology, mobile phones, internet etc. Though, using above mentioned communicating methods, we can overcome communication barriers in such unexpected events.
